Well I’ve finally gone and done it. I’ve opened a second website fully devoted to preloved and second hand crystals.
Yes I still have my group on Facebook and it and its sister group are still going strong. But what about those who prefer time away from the noise and distraction of social media? I am one of those people who prefer to shop in peace – away from notifications, messages and adverts. I put myself in my own shoes and decided it was time.
Decisions, decisions.
To be fair I made that decision a few years back but something stopped me from doing it. I’m still not fully sure what held me back only that it did. All of a sudden this last month I had an epiphany.
I decided to abandon the idea of adding a shop on this website and making a fresh one. With no confusion and cross over with the energy work.
I twigged I’ve been using lots of websites myself as a buyer that use Shopify for a long time. I even have the Shop app on my phone – and I NEVER have apps on my phone. You could hear the clanging of that penny dropping in a 10 mile radius.
I gave the free trial a shot, fell in love with the system and lo and behold it’s done. I’m very proud of my shiny new space and hope you will be too. It’s always fun to shop for crystals and to be honest listing them is part of the fun too.
Now I don’t go into masses of detail of the crystal properties, growth formations, geology or metaphysical properties. Mainly as people looking for preloved or second hand crystal are already working with them and know what they mean direct. No point reinventing the wheel! I simply write what comes through from the crystal itself.
Why preloved/second hand crystal?
They are already in circulation, we’re not adding demand for new crystals, it’s fun and you get to see pieces from older collections you may never have seen before. Many collections I look after or move on for others are 20+ years old, I’ve been lucky to handle some very rare second hand pieces. And quite honestly the very best part of what I do is unwrapping what’s been sent to me by the caretaker.
Procrastination begone!
The website is live and I’ve even had a few orders after a very soft launch on social media. For which I am extremely grateful. I’m offering the Preloved Crystal mystery bundles in a more cohesive fashion – i.e. it’ll make a bit more sense.
