Something I’ve learned along the way that the work I do, the team and I have and all the rest is my direct connection. I didn’t need a modality, a teacher or a script to follow to take it forwards. Even though at the start I believed I did.
Indeed I’ve found over time I’ve actually been removing attunements, teachings and others words and projections out of my energy to let me progress. You never realise just how much baggage you can hold from others until you start stripping it out of the way.
When you start down this line and twig you can connect with your guides, guardians, team, Source direct everything begins to be questioned. Especially what you have been taught or exposed to.
When the penny drops
It’s a sobering moment when you find yourself repeating something you were told parrot fashion and then question “what the hell did I just say?”. I caught myself at my worst sending people “love and light” which is classic new age spirituality BS and gaslighting. I didn’t believe it or embody it so why did I say it? Because everyone around me was and I was continuing to people please and fit in.
Can you hear the brakes screeching to a halt? I sure as hell did.
When I stopped and listened to what was coming out of my mouth or what I was typing I had an epiphany. It was not me speaking. It was a replay of someone else’s thoughts, beliefs and conditioning. Yes really we have all sorts of programming and conditioning at play in the spiritual field. I agree we shouldn’t but we really do. I was proof of that.
So what did you do?
I immediately ground everything to a halt and started questioning everything.
If I had my own direct connection why had I done so many courses, workshops?
I questioned myself, my team, my connection to others. Even why were others connecting to me – was it clean or was there a hidden agenda? I know sounds extreme but that’s where this questioning can lead you.
I realised that I had to step away from all the other voices so I could begin to hear mine once more. It took a while and was not easy as the temptation to fall back into old patterns was strong.
But as one pretence falls away it gets easier to stick with it and get to the truth that hide beneath.
What I eventually discovered was my connection to my team was just that. My connection. I didn’t need anybody guiding me or showing me the way. It was already in place. When starting out it can be very comforting to have help and support – but not to the point where you reply on them for everything. No mentor worth their salt would be encouraging that behaviour.
It has taught me how not to be in a professional capacity going forwards so I do thank the experience for that.
Anyway I digress.
Your direct connection is sacred and powerful.
When you realise you have the ability to work with your own direct connection to Source, your team, god, whatever term works for you it simplifies so much. The bells and whistles fall away. The ceremony falls away and things become so much more direct and understandable. Without all the background chatter you can hear so much more clearly.
When you find yourself defaulting to another teachings or methodology, or when you speak and hear someone else’s voice. Stop for a moment. Observe whats happening. And then ask why have I allowed this energy/person to overwrite my own thoughts, beliefs or voice?
Sit and listen to what comes up as believe me you’ll find many solutions coming up to the surface.
You don’t need a third party to do your own work.
You can get support and help along the way but your direct connection is just that. Yours.
