Mon 20th – Tue 21st : Threshold
And finally for the first time in weeks we have a gentler reading – don’t get me wrong a few of you will still get your arses booted but perhaps not as powerfully as previous weeks. Consider it a lull in energies.
Now this card falls across New Moon on the 20th and is perfect. For we/you are at a doorway or a crossing point. A potential for a shift or change. Now you may feel slightly anxious or unsure and if that is the case sit with it awhile.
If it feels right then it’s right.
If it feels off then perhaps now is not the time – park it for a bit instead. Don’t close it down, simply set aside to look at later.
What strikes me in this card is the shift in colour – from the fiery reds and oranges to a calmer cooler purple and mauves – I’m sure you can relate. And in truth I’m not going to overly translate this card as it will reveal more to you direct.
Pay heed to the butterflies travelling ahead of the figure in the card – showing safety in taking flight and spreading those wings of yours just a little.
Ultimately this is all about your own free will. Either to step across this threshold or don’t. Only you can decide which is correct for you right now – not me or anyone else. Only you.
Do what is right for you.
Wed 22nd – Thur 23rd : Clouds
Once again I’m struck by the colours of this card with lots of purple, violet and blue. Those who work with chakras may find a bit of focus on the throat and third eye this week. Possibly voicing your truth or seeing the truth in front of you.
Be patient with yourself and others – this is very important. In fact with the energies I’m tracking I cannot overstate how important that statement actually is.
If the weather permits sit back and watch the clouds for a while. You may start to see shapes and forms or get little moments of realisation when you slow down.
Take some time out to just be. To not micro manage every second of the day, to drift – even if just to see what that feels like. When you relax and trust things can come into more defined clarity. Especially when you have been chasing for it. Indeed chasing or desperation can move it away from your awareness.
Let natural time step in and run the show for a bit.
I’d like to say put your feet up, relax and take the slow road for a day or so. This may be a needed step for some after the New Moon – and for others a pause to step back into alignment.
Fri 24th – Sun 26th : Apalala
This card is all about balance – can you see the Yin Yang symbol right at the heart of the card? It’s slightly hidden behind the dragon but it’s very much there.
It’s easy just now to get knocked off balance without even realising it has happened. We are so focussed on so many “things” that are outside of our control – and it can spin us out. I will happily hold my hand up to that.
But when you focus on things that are within your own sphere of influence – such as your reactions, your feelings , your beliefs. Things begin to quieten slightly.
The mad roar lessens and you start to hear yourself again. That calm inner voice that can offer up so much advice and allow you to feel like yourself again.
This is also a card about peace – inner peace is uppermost in my awareness as I translate. Reminding you that you DO have the ability to connect with it even when chaos surrounds you.
Being peaceful does not mean being weak – far from it. It is a strength and can support you through much more than you may realise currently.
Do what brings you balance or peace or joy – be it switching off for a while, connecting with nature, reading, music, gardening, working with crystals – the list is endless.
Remember as you find your own peace this amplified outwards and helps more people. So a win win you feel better and others around you will also
Start of the week – with this new moon you may find yourself at the threshold of a new direction/venture/pathway. You may even feel slightly nervous about it all – ask for your gut reaction if you were to step forwards. If the butterflies in the stomach feel positive then go for it. If they feel less than positive park it for now and take a look at it at a later date. You have to do what feels right for you – not what someone else tells you is right for you.
Mid week – relax, stop and smell the roses, slow down. Pause for a bit and allow yourself to catch up with yourself. Let the many voices clamouring for attention fade down or even be muted for a day or so. Grab a cuppa and watch the clouds for an hour or two – inspiration and clarity can come forwards when your energy is calmer.
End of the week– time to do what brings you joy and brings you back into balance. That’s it in a nut shell in all honesty – balance is key.
